The camera then moves to show director Christopher McQuarrie, who is helming, writing and co-producing the upcoming Mission Impossible films. After thanking fans for their support, MC Quarrie says, “Hey, listen, we really have got to roll. We've got to get this shot.”
Following this, Tom Cruise adds, “As always, thank you for allowing us to entertain you. It truly is the honour of a lifetime. I'm running out of altitude, so I've got to get back to work. We've got to get this shot. You have a very safe and happy holiday. We'll see you at the movies,” before finishing his stunt.
Fans have replied to the post praising him. One fan said, “Tom Cruise saving the whole movie industry while risking his own life to entertain. Rest of the movie world, take a note!”
