What it takes to protect the world's most endangered zebra
CNN
Sheila Funnell has dedicated her life to tracking Grevy's zebras in Kenya, which have suffered one of the biggest population declines of any current African mammal.
This subset is the largest of the three zebra species found in Africa, and can be identified by stark white bellies, round ears and brown muzzles. But due to hunting and land degradation, they also happen to be the most endangered zebra on the continent, according to the African Wildlife Foundation. Roughly 2,000 Grevy's zebras exist in the wild today.More Related News
