
Westbound Gardiner Expressway closed in Etobicoke due to crash

All westbound lanes of the Gardiner Expressway were closed Monday morning at the Park Lawn Road exit in Etobicoke due to a crash investigation, police say.
Toronto police said it responded around 5:30 a.m. to reports of a two vehicle collision on the westbound section of the highway.
Police say while at the scene a Toronto Fire truck was hit by a vehicle.
One person was transported to hospital with serious injuries, paramedics said.
Traffic is being diverted due to the closure, and police are warning drivers travelling in the area to expect delays.
