WI vs IND, 3rd T20I: Suryakumar Yadav became the Player of the Match after India won the third T20I by seven wickets at Warner Park in St Kitts.
Suryakumar Yadav had a day to remember on Tuesday, August 2, after he won the Player of the Match in India’s third T20I against the West Indies at Warner Park in St Kitts. After batting once in the middle order in the second match, Yadav was back to opening the batting with skipper Rohit Sharma.
The right-handed batter didn’t disappoint as he scored 76 runs off 44 balls with the help of eight fours and four sixes. On the back of his knock, India chased down the target of 165 with one over to spare.
After playing a magnificent knock, Yadav got out to Dominic Drakes in the 15th over with India needing 30 more runs off 33 balls at less than a run-a-ball.
After India won the match by seven wickets and took a 2-1 lead in the three-match series, Suryakumar was seen giving autographs to fans. The fans looked happy while the batter was signing their bats. The official Twitter handle of the BCCI uploaded the heartfelt video.

Following his match-winning knock, Suryakumar talked about the importance of batting deep into an innings.
