India will take on West Indies in the fifth and final T20I match at Lauderhill, Florida on Sunday (August 7). Having won the series 3-1, India would be aiming to finish off their tour of West Indies on a high. The match begins at 8 pm IST.
The Rohit Sharma-led side comfortably sealed the series with a 59-run victory in the fourth game at the same venue. The Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground had a delayed start on Saturday due to bad weather and on-and-off rain, but come Sunday things look bright. There will be 66 percent of humidity with 70 percent of cloud cover. As the match will progress, humidity will vary but cloud cover is expected to remain the same.
India had a decent start with Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav at the top. After their dismissals, Rishabh Pant, Sanju Samson and Axar Patel hammered the West Indies bowlers, especially Obed McCoy who returned with the figures of 2/66. The quickfire knocks by the trio helped India post 191 for the loss of five wickets. West Indies had no reply to the imposing target as they kept on losing wickets in quick succession. West Indies folded for 132, with Arshdeep Singh taking 3/12, Avesh Khan 2/17, Ravi Bishnoi 2/27 and Axar Patel 2/48.
