West Bengal govt shuts down schools from tomorrow, summer vacations from May 7

The schools in West Bengal are being shut down from tomorrow in view of the increase in Covid-19 cases across the state in the past few weeks.
The government of West Bengal has ordered the closure of schools in the state from tomorrow, April 20, in view of the increase in the number of Covid-19 cases in the area. The schools in the state are set to remain shut for the time being. Apart from announcing the closure of schools in the state, the government of West Bengal has also announced summer vacations in all the schools from May 7. The students of Class 10 and 12, and the school teachers were attending physical classes till now. The physical classes for all the students in West Bengal were suspended last year in March 2020 due to the nationwide lockdown imposed by the central government. All classes and academic activities were being conducted online and physical classes were resumed after 11 months.More Related News
