Blaming the Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) again on Saturday, Mamata Banerjee alleged that West Bengal faced four-five floods each year due to the corporation's "irregular activities".
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee attacked the Centre and blamed the Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) authorities again on Saturday for causing “man-made" flood in several regions of the state.
“Due to irregular activities of DVC, I can't face four-five floods every year. No money is being given to us. They just release water. As if Bengal is a puppet and they will release water and our people will die,” Mamata Banerjee said during a press conference at Nabanna.
