West Bengal extends Covid-19 lockdown till June 15

Amid rising coronavirus cases, the West Bengal government on Thursday announced extension of lockdown in the state till June 15.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday announced extension of the lockdown in the state till June 15 to contain the spread of Covid-19. The ongoing lockdown in West Bengal was to end on May 30. West Bengal reported 16,225 Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, raising the tally to 13,18,203, a health department bulletin said.
