
West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee urges Centre to repeal farm laws during visit to Gurudwara in Bhabanipur

Ahead of the upcoming Bhabanipur bypoll, Mamata Banerjee visited a Gurudwara in the area and interacted with the locals.
New Delhi: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday (September 15) reiterated her support to the farmers' protest and urged the Centre to repeal the three controversial agriculture laws.
In an effort to reach out to the sizeable Sikh community in Bhabanipur constituency, where the TMC supremo will contest a bypoll on September 30, she visited a Gurudwara in the area and interacted with the locals.
"I share an excellent bonding with the brothers and sisters of the Sikh community. Even members of my family are regular visitors here,” she said.
