The West Bengal Criminal Investigation Department busted a fake arms licence racket and arrested six people from Burdwan and North 24 Parganas.
The West Bengal Criminal Investigation Department (CID) busted a fake arms licence racket and arrested six people from Burdwan and North 24 Parganas. Around 36 fake seals of different officials of West Bengal and other states, five fake arms licences and five arms and ammunition were recovered from the accused.As per CID sources, acting on a tip-off, the CID’s Special Operation Group on Friday night arrested six persons from different places in Burdwan and North 24 Parganas.
A case has been registered at Memari Police Station under Sections 419/468/471/472/ 473/120B of the IPC and 25(i)(8) of the Arms Act.
