The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that a fresh western disturbance is likely to affect the western Himalayan region starting from December 13, 2021.

In its latest weather bulletin, the IMD has stated that due to a fresh western disturbance, light isolated to scattered rainfall or snowfall is very likely over Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad during December 13-15 and over Himachal Pradesh on December 14, 2021.
