Weather forecast today: IMD issues red and orange alerts in Telangana; intense rainfall continues in Maharashtra

As rainfall intensifies in several regions of India, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued alerts in three districts such as Kumuram Bheem, Jagtial, Warangal and Orange alerts in nine districts of Telangana.

NDRF & SDRF teams have been deployed in Nirmal district and till now they have rescued more than 100 people who were stranded. CM Thackeray has asked the Disaster Management cells and all the related departments to start preparing for rescue operations. Heavy rainfall has continued to lash Satara district in Maharastra. Meanwhile, rainfall broke records in Mahabaleshwar by witnessing 480 mm rain till Thursday morning.More Related News
