Addressing the Lok Sabha on the Motion of Thanks to the President, PM Modi said the country is celebrating 75 years of Independence.
"History is witness that after World War II, the world saw a big change, a new world order in which we are living now. I see clearly that after the Covid-19 pandemic, the world is quickly moving towards a new world order.
"It is a turning point and we, as a nation, should not let this opportunity go," PM Modi said.
The Prime Minister said the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav has presented an opportunity to inspire the country.
He added, "India's voice should be bold at the main table. India should not sell itself short and believe that it can take up a leadership role. In this context, Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav is an opportunity to inspire the nation."
"We are entering an Amrit era," Prime Minister Narendra Modi said.
