The Prime Minister stated that India is on track to achieve its national commitment of land degradation neutrality.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday (June 14, 2021) delivered a keynote address at the UN High-Level Dialogue on 'Desertification, Land Degradation and Drought' and stated that India considers 'sacred Earth as our mother'.  During the video conference address, Prime Minister Modi also said that India has taken the lead to highlight land degradation issues at international forums. He stated that the country is on track to achieve its national commitment of land degradation neutrality.
