Waterloo region reports 41 new COVID-19 cases

There were 41 new COVID-19 cases reported in Waterloo region on Thursday.
The number of people hospitalized with the virus also jumped from six on Wednesday to 14 on Thursday. Two people were in the intensive care unit.
There were 210 active cases in the region.
The region's COVID-19 dashboard confirmed 12 outbreaks in the region, two fewer than the day before.
