Water level in Papanasam dam stands at 52 feet

Water level in Papanasam dam on Tuesday stood at 52 feet (the maximum permissible level being 143 feet). The dam had an inflow of 15.41 cusecs of water and 254.75 cusecs of water was discharged. The level in Manimuthar dam stood at 86.46 feet (118 feet). The dam had an inflow of 90.10 cusecs and 245 cusecs of water was discharged.
