Water level in Periyar dam on Tuesday stood at 128.60 feet (maximum permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 1,312 cusecs and a discharge of 1,300 cusecs. In Vaigai dam, the level was 56.07 ft. (71 ft.) with an inflow of 954 cusecs and a discharge of 1,119 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 5,913 mcft.
