India Women Opener Smriti Mandhana has said that she used to watch the men's team play Day-Night Test matches thinking that a moment like that would never come in her life. The statement from the southpaw comes days after BCCI announced a maiden pink-ball Day-Night Test for Indian women's cricket team. The historic Test match will be part of India Women's multi-format tour of Australia. “Frankly, when I used to watch day-night Tests of men, I actually never felt that I will be able to experience this moment — it’s wrong to say ‘I’ at the moment — that the Indian team will be able to experience the moment,” Mandhana told ESPNcricinfo.
