Chennai Super Kings uploaded a heartwarming video of celebrating the birthday of their ‘bat doctor’ Sarvanan. The team as well as the support staff got together for a photo session and birthday antics amidst the busy schedule of the Indian Premier League.

CSK, in earlier videos have featured Sarvanan where he revealed that New Zealand international Devon Conway has named him the ‘bat doctor’ of the camp. Saravanan in the video imparted words of wisdom that he believes in doing his work selflessly and happily because he feels that it brings real joy.

Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni who recently took the leadership mantle back from Ravindra Jadeja can be seen walking up to Sarvanan and addressing him as ‘anna’ while wishing him happy birthday. The video further features the likes of Dwayne Bravo who were a part of the celebration and some banter.

Chennai Super Kings are currently positioned at the ninth position in the points table with three wins and seven losses in their 10 matches. They have won one and lost one under the leadership of MS Dhoni. Chennai will take on Delhi Capital, Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals in their remaining four matches.

The leadership position in the Chennai Super Kings after the commencement of this IPL is still unclear. Dhoni has said that he will be returning in the yellow next season, however has not confirmed if that will be as a player or as a part of the CSK camp.
