"I invite MLAs from all over the country to visit Assam. How can I stop people from coming to a hotel? Can I tell you not come to a hotel in Assam because there is federal structure in the country? I am happy when anyone comes to Assam, they can stay as long as they want," Mr Sarma told news agency ANI.
Asked what he would tell Mr Thackeray, he said, "You should come for a vacation too."
This is the third consecutive time that the BJP has emerged as the largest party in Maharashtra, which is undoubtedly a historic feat, Prime Minister Modi said.
Mr Chadha pointed out that the three seats in which the AAP emerged victorious had never been won by the party before.
Speaking to reporters in Nagpur as the ruling coalition was on its way to win a massive victory in the assembly elections, she said her son, currently a deputy chief minister, knows how to overcome challenges.
