The incident took a funny twist when it was found that the man was part of the team that had gone into the forest to search for him.

A 50-year-old Turkish man named Beyhan Mutlu had gone missing from the rural neighbourhood of Çayyaka near the city of Inegöl after enjoying a few drinks with his friends. He had wandered into the woods in an inebriated condition, local media reported. When he didn't return to the neighbourhood, his friends informed the police.
