Former captain and fast bowling great Wasim Akram called for an end to the constant criticism that has been directed towards Pakistan's squad for the T20 World Cup. Akram, 55, said that former players and analysts should back the players and comments on social media on 23-year-old Azam Khan's weight were particularly disturbing.
"If you look at his present form. He is young right? People are mocking him for his weight. He has been trending on Twitter for all the wrong reasons. Please spare him. He is Pakistan's child after all, and he needs to be given confidence," Akram said on ARY News.
