After the BJP accused the AAP government of shiksha scam in Delhi, CM Arvind Kejriwal hit back at the saffron party.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal hit out at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) after the saffron party accused the AAP-led Delhi government of corruption in schools. The AAP chief also took a dig at the conditions of the MCD school which is run by the BJP.
Earlier in the day, the BJP alleged that the Delhi government escalated the cost of building classrooms multiple times and projected several schools toilets as classrooms to justify the "bloated" costs. The BJP said that sharab and shiksha scams had become the twin towers of corruption in the Delhi government.
Responding to the allegations of the BJP, Arvind Kejriwal wrote on Twitter, “BJP’s allegation is why so many government schools should be built, why so many classrooms, why so many modern facilities in every class? Because we want to give the best education to every child in the country. Right now, the schools of the BJP-ruled MCD are in bad condition. MCD schools will do well if they win there."

"Sharab' (liquor) and 'shiksha' (education) scams had become the "twin towers of corruption" in the Delhi government and the Arvind Kejriwal dispensation was gradually building more floors," the BJP said.
