Multiple media hosts and pundits linked Gov. Tim Walz's debate performance to his lack of media exposure following his showdown with Sen. JD Vance on Tuesday.

I mean, I don't know why they've done it, but they've kept him out of the limelight. They've kept him away from reporters. They haven't had him do any interviews. And he was clearly unsteady through much of that debate. In contrast, JD Vance was very smooth."
