Vridhi Kumari has truly broken the glass ceiling and is an inspiration to many girls who will surely follow in her footsteps, said DMK MP Kanimozhi at a felicitation event organised for the athlete from Chennai.
Ms. Kumari recently won the bronze medal at the IMMAF (International Mixed Martial Arts Federation) World Championships. She became the first Indian woman to win a medal for the country in her category. The other members of the MMA team which participated in the world championships were also felicitated during the event.
