Voting underway in 4 Bengal, Odisha constituencies, including Mamata's home turf Bhabanipur; results on Oct 3

Bypolls to three Bengal constituencies and one Odisha seat are being held on Thursday. The voting began at 7 am and will continue till 6 pm. The results will be declared on October 3.

Voting for by-election to three West Bengal constituencies and one Odisha constituencies began at 7 am on Thursday. In West Bengal, the by-polls are being held in South Kolkata's Bhabanipur, Jangipur and Samserganj, while in Odisha, the voting for the Pipili assembly seat is taking place on Thursday.

The spotlight is on West Bengal's Bhabanipur seat as Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee battles to win the seat to retain the chief minister's post.
