Voting day starts smoothly at most London polling stations

People in London, Ont., who headed to the federal election polls early Monday encountered mostly short lineups and a trouble-free voting experience.
Despite concerns that pandemic protocols would lead to issues, many people at various polling stations across the city said they were in and out in a reasonable time.
"Didn't have to wait a long time, well-organized," said London voter Steve McNeill outside the Budweiser Gardens polling station on Monday morning. "It's a major operation."
Elections Canada did report problems with its website first thing Monday morning, with some voters unable to access polling station details.
The issue was resolved in an hour, with addresses now available for people who do not have a voter card.
Western University students Nicole Protopapas, Harleen Nijjar, Rachel Johnson and Avreen Samra carpooled to Budweiser Gardens to submit their votes between classes.
They said that while the voting process was easy, they felt there wasn't enough information about the campaign targeted to their demographic.
