The volunteer missing persons investigation group Please Bring Me Home (PBMH) is in Timmins searching for two men who went missing ten years apart in the same area.
The organization is hoping a new search will turn up some evidence are the unsuccessful police investigations left the trails cold.
Volunteers are scouring the bush near Murphy Road, in hopes of finding any clues as to what happened to two men who seemingly disappeared in the same wooded area.
Luciano Trinaistich went missing in July 2007 while out blueberry picking. He was 79-years-old at the time. While 44-year-old Christoper Rivers was reported missing just over a decade later in August 2017.
The only evidence police ever located was their abandoned vehicles.
“Chris’ car was found over there, Luciano’s was over there,” said Julie Charette with PBMH.
“Between the two was 400 feet. So, that’s why we picked this area.”
