Vivo Y33e 5G has been launched in the company’s home market, China. The smartphone is a slightly toned down version of the Vivo Y33s 5G that debuted in March this year. Besides the affordable price tag, the Vivo Y33e brings 5G support, MediaTek Dimensity processor, the latest Android 12, and more. The Vivo Y33e comes in only one variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It is priced at RMB 1,299, which roughly translates to Rs 15,000. The sale of the phone will begin in June in China. Currently, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer hasn’t revealed global availability details yet. As far as the specifications are concerned, the Vivo Y33e 5G comes packed with a 6.51-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The phone includes a power button on the side that doubles as a fingerprint scanner. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor coupled with 4GB RAma and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded further via a microSD card. The Vivo Y33e 5G is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for standard 10W charging brick in the box. On the software front, the device runs on OriginOS Ocean UI based on the latest Android 12 out of the box. In terms of cameras, the phone includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor coupled with a 2-megapixel macro lens. For selfies, the phone comes packed with an 8-megapixel shooter. There are multiple connectivity options including a USB-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-SIM, and GPS.
