Visitors in taxi too can use drive-through vaccination facility

People who do not own a car too can get vaccinated at the Lusail drive-through Covid-19 vaccination center, by visiting the center in a taxi, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said Wednesday. Though people using the facility must complete the vaccination process in a car or suitable vehicle and cant be done on foot, own vehicle is not necessary. In an infographic posted on social media, the MoPH said those who visiting the drive-through center will be attended on a first-come-first-seen basis. The Drive-Through Center is operational from 11am to 10pm, 7 days a week. The last admission will be by 9pm. At peak times, it may be required to wait while people came beforehand got inoculated. In the first few weeks of operation the busiest times have been between 11am and 1pm daily. To go through the process fast, it is recommended to visit the center between 2pm and 7pm, MoPH said.
