Virginia man confesses to 2004 double murder, sentenced to 4 life sentences: reports

A Virginia Beach, Virginia cold case came to a close Monday after a man who pleaded guilty to a 2004 double homicide for the second time was sentenced to four life sentences.
Stoner was charged with aggravated murder and first-degree murder for shooting and killing Lois Schmidt, 29, and her son, Jonathan Vetrano. Greg Wehner is a breaking news reporter for Fox News Digital.
Prosecutors also said Stoner was charged with torturing and mutilating a dog after he killed the family pet, and aggravated malicious wounding after shooting Morgan Bloise, Schmidt’s brother, WAVY reported.
