The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday announced an 20-member Indian squad for the upcoming ICC World Test Championship final which will take place in Southampton in June. The same squad will then face hosts England in the subsequent five-match Test series in August. India's squad: Virat Kohli (C), Ajinkya Rahane (VC), Rohit Sharma, Gill, Mayank, Cheteshwar Pujara, H. Vihari, Rishabh (WK), R. Ashwin, R. Jadeja, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Bumrah, Ishant, Shami, Siraj, Shardul, Umesh.KL Rahul & Saha (WK) subject to fitness clearance. — BCCI (@BCCI) May 7, 2021 The biggest additions in the squad are that of fast bowler Mohammed Shami and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who have been out of action from international cricket for a long time due to their respective injuries. All-rounder Hardik Pandya, opener Prithvi Shaw and seamer Bhuvneshwar Kumar are the major names that are missing from the squad.More Related News
