Royal Challengers Bangalore all-rounder Glenn Maxwell is reveling in the new role that his 4th franchise has given him in this year's Indian Premier League. Maxwell, who had couldn't live up to expectations in his previous 8 seasons, looks like he has finally come into his own at RCB, where he is getting time to bat and build his innings just like he did in Match 6 of the IPL 2021 against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Wednesday. Maxwell's 41-ball 59 helped RCB beat SRH by 6 runs in a low-scoring thriller at the MA Chidambaram stadium in Chennai. His first IPL fifty since 2016 helped RCB reach 149 for 8 at the Chepauk which they successfully defended by stopping SRH at 143 for 9 to grab the top spot on the points table.
