Vikrant Massey will soon be seen sharing screen space with Vijay Sethupathi in Mumbaikar. In a recent chat with IndiaToday.in, the actor opened up about working with Vijay.
The audience and fans of Vikrant Massey are super excited to see the actor in filmmaker Santosh Sivan’s Mumbaikar with Vijay Sethupathi. The film was shot last year and is expected to release sometime this year. In a recent conversation with IndiaToday.in, Vikrant opened up about the film and working with Vijay. Mumbaikar also stars Tanya Maniktala, among others. It marks Vijay Sethupathi's debut in Hindi films.
In the last few years, Vijay Sethupathi gained immense popularity, especially in the Hindi-speaking belt. Fondly called as Makkal Selvan by his fans, the Master actor is known for his down-to-earth persona and humble attitude towards fans. Now, Vikrant Massey, who will be sharing the screen with the actor for the first time, also described him as a humble man. “He is a dream to work with. Unfortunately, I didn't have a lot of work with him. I have only worked with him for three nights. But I will always cherish those three nights, he is such a humble man. Just loved working with him," Vikrant told IndiaToday.in.Last year, Karan Johar shared the first-look poster of the film on Twitter and wrote, "Promises to be a stunning cinematic experience! Mumbaikar has a stellar cast which includes Vikrant Massey, Vijay Sethupathi, Ranvir Shorey, Sanjay Mishra, Tanya Maniktala and Sachin Khedekar. Produced by Shibu Thameens, the film is being directed by Santosh Sivan. According to reports, Mumbaikar is the Hindi remake of the hit Tamil film, Maanagaram. Vikrant Massey will step into Sundeep Kishan's shoes in the Hindi remake. Maanagaram, which was released in 2017, was an edge-of-the-seat thriller and was directed by young filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj.
