Vijay Deverakonda not replaced by Ram Charan in Sukumar's next, shoot to start in 2022

There were speculations doing the rounds that Vijay Deverakonda has been replaced by Ram Charan in Sukumar’s next. However, the makers have clarified that the project will happen as scheduled in 2022 with Vijay Deverakonda as the hero.

On Monday (April 19), the makers of Vijay Deverakonda and Sukumar’s next took to Instagram to officially announce that the rumours doing the rounds regarding change in casting and the film being shelved are false. They clarified that the project will begin in 2022 as planned after the actor and director fulfill their pre-existing commitments. In the post shared by the makers, they clarified that their maiden project will be helmed by Sukumar with Vijay Deverakonda as the lead actor. They wrote, “Falcon Creations has announced its prestigious maiden project with Hero Vijay Deverakonda in the direction of Sukumar sir. This project shall start as planned, once the pre-existing commitments of Hero and Director are completed (sic).”
