A vigil is scheduled for Friday for Calgary homicide victim Ania Kaminski.
Ania, 33, was found dead in the 300 block of Tuscany Ridge Heights N.W. on Dec. 29.
Her father Stanislaw Wardzala was found dead in the 0 to 100 block of Kincora Grove N.W. the same night.
Police believe Ania's husband, 38-year-old Benedict Kaminski, was responsible for both deaths.
He was found dead near Water Valley on Monday afternoon, hours after an emergency alert was issued warning of a dangerous person with a gun in the Calgary area.
Ania was an elementary school teacher with Rocky View Schools.
The organizer of Friday's memorial says it will be a chance to celebrate Ania's life, describing her as a “beautiful soul” taken from the earth too soon.
