Cristiano Ronaldo was sent off for elbowing an opponent. Upon receiving the red-card, Ronaldo seemed to have thought of punching the referee.
One of the greatest footballers of all time, Cristiano Ronaldo had an evening to forget after he was sentoff for elbowing an opponent. Playing for Al-Nassr, Ronaldo received the marching orders after he elbowed an Al-Hilal player, prompting the referee to give him a straight red card. However, it's Ronaldo's action after receiving the red card that left the world of social media absolutely stunned. Angry with the referee's red-card decision, Ronaldo seemed to have though of punching the official, but eventually, he decided against doing so. The result of the match went in Al-Hilal's favour, with with Al-Nassr crashing out of the Saudi Super Cup with a 1-2 defeat. For Al-Nassr, Sadio Mane was the only goal-scorer. Here's the video of the moment Ronaldo lost his cool:
