Victim of hit and run dies as police ask public to help locate driver

A female pedestrian has died after being hit by a car, police say.
She and a man were walking in the 300-block of Spruce Street near Wavell Street at around 9:40 p.m. on Nov. 10 when they were struck. The driver fled the scene.
The man sustained minor injuries, but the woman's were life-threatening.
She succumbed to her injuries on Thursday. Her identity is not being released at the request of her family.
Police are investigating, and asking the public for help in finding the driver.
The vehicle that struck the pair was last seen driving south on Spruce Street.
It's described as a newer-style silver sedan, with possible damage to the passenger-side mirror and to the body of the car.
Anyone who was in the area at the time of the collision or who may have dash-cam video or security footage of the incident or car is asked to call London Police.
