Kanniyakumari SP launches free coaching program 'Vetri Paadhai' for SI exam preparation, emphasizing service, pride, and responsibility.
“Police service is all about service, pride and responsibility,” said Kanniyakumari Superintendent of Police R. Stalin at the inauguration of a free coaching centre those preparing for Sub Inspector examination, on Tuesday.
An initiative of Mr. Stalin, the free coaching programme, ‘Vetri Paadhai,’ (Path to Success) was launched at the Armed Reserve Police Welfare Centre in Nagercoil aiming to benefit men, women and transgender persons of the district.
Addressing the gathering, the SP urged the youth to focus on their exams and plan their preparation effectively. Each subject would be handled individually by experienced teachers and Sub Inspectors and over 50 tests will be conducted based on pre-announced topics, and the scores will be shared immediately.
By analysing these test results, candidates can identify their strengths and weaknesses and focus on subjects that require more attention, he said.
He advised the candidates to create a clear study schedule, display it in a visible place, and use their time productively. With confidence and dedicated preparations, everyone can succeed in the SI exam, he said.
The objective of the training is to produce honest and committed officers, while fostering a positive perception of the police force among the public, Mr. Stalin said.
