Shoaib Malik slammed three sixes and a four in Pakistan's last over against Scotland to sun their total ot 189/4. His half century, which came off just 18 balls is the joint third fastest in the history of the T20 World Cup.
Shoaib Malik's rampage in the final over helped him smash the fastest-ever half century by a Pakistan player in the history of the T20 World Cup, The 39-year-old, who captained Pakistan in the first-ever T20 World Cup in 2007, also equaled India's KL Rahul record for the fastest half century of the tournament.
Shoaib smashed three sixes and a four in the final over the Pakistan innings against Scotland, which thus made it 26 runs in the over. It also meant that Pakistan had scored a whopping 114 runs in the last eight overs.
