Veteran film producer Krishnachandra Sharma passed away on August 19. His son, Gadar director Anil Kapoor issued a statement.
Veteran film producer Krishnachandra Sharma has passed away. His son Anil Sharma, who had helmed Gadar, issued a statement. He mentioned that the veteran producer breathed his last on August 19.
Gadar director Anil Sharma’s father, veteran film producer Krishnachandra Sharma passed away on August 19. Anil issued an official statement on Saturday. It can be read, “It is with deep sadness and sorrow that I inform you of the passing away of my beloved father, Shri Krishnachandra Sharmaji on 19th August, 2022.”
The statement can be further read, “Our beloved and respected Mathura-wasi Shri Krishnachandra has left for the heavenly abode on the occasion of Janmashtami. He was an ardent devotee of Lord Krishna and I would request you all to please pray for his departed soul.”
Krishnachandra Sharma had produced films such as Dharmendra’s Tahalka, Policewala Gunda and Raj Babbar-Smita Patil’s Jawaab. The veteran producer had last bankrolled 2018 film, Genius, which starred his grandson Utkarsh Sharma.
