Die Heizperiode neigt sich dem Ende. Trotzdem darf die Bundesregierung das Thema Energiesicherheit nicht aus den Augen verlieren. Sie muss jetzt entscheiden, wer im Fall der Fälle ab Herbst noch Gas bekommt – und wer nicht.
„Frieren für den Frieden“ – bislang ist das eine weitgehend leere Parole. Ja, einige Haushalte haben in den letzten Monaten dieser Heizperiode den Heizungsregler ein wenig runtergedreht, um weniger von Putins Gas zu verbrauchen und Geld zu sparen. Aber jetzt steht der Sommer vor der Tür, das Thema Heizen verliert für die Verbraucher an Bedeutung. Die Politik darf das Thema dennoch nicht aus den Augen verlieren. Im Gegenteil: Die Bundesregierung muss frühzeitig einen klaren Fahrplan haben, wer im Fall der Fälle ab Herbst noch wie viel Gas erhält – und wer nicht.
