
Venomous snake bites three students at boys hostel in Andhra’s Vizag, one dead

A Class 8 student died after a venomous snake bit three students at a state-run welfare hostel in Kurupam in Andhra’s Vizianagaram district. Among the other two bitten, one is said to be stable while the other student is in critical condition.
A venomous snake bit three Class 8 students at the Jyotiba Phule Backward Class Welfare Residential Boys' school in Kurupam in Andhra Pradesh’s Vizianagaram district. One of the students died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Vizianagaram.
Among the other two infected students, one is reportedly in a stable condition. The other student is said to be in critical condition and being kept on a ventilator. They are being treated at the Thirumala Hospital in Vizianagaram.
Pushpa Srivani, Deputy Chief Minister and Tribal Welfare Minister, reached the hospital and inquired about the health of students.
