Anil Agarwal, in his latest post on Twitter, shared some snippets of his memories of his first experience of Mumbai city.
Mumbai, the city of dreams, has always been a beacon of hope for all those who have ambitions higher than the sky. So was the case for Vedanta chairman Anil Agarwal. When the founder of Vedanta Resources Ltd. came to Mumbai, he only had a tiffin box, some bedding and dreams in his eyes. Agarwal, in his latest post on Twitter, shared some snippets of his memories of his first experience of Mumbai city.
The two-part tweet saw Agarwal reminiscing on the days gone by when he travelled from Bihar to Mumbai with a zeal to do something with his life. “Millions of people come to Mumbai to try their luck. I was one of them. I remember the day I left Bihar with only a tiffin box, bedding, and dreams in my eyes. I arrived at Victoria Terminus station, and for the first time,” he wrote.
In the second part, he spoke about the amazing things in the city that he only heard of back at home. From being amazed by taxis and double-decker buses to being the executive chairman of a company, Agarwal’s journey will definitely inspire you.
