Varun Sharma took to Instagram to pen an emotional note ahead of the release of his film Roohi. In his note, the actor wrote about the importance of theatres in an actor's life.
Varun Sharma is emotional as his film Roohi, also starring Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, is finally releasing in theatres on March 11. Roohi is among the first Bollywood films releasing in theatres after nearly a year of novel coronavirus pandemic-induced shutdown. Varun penned a long note on Instagram and called theatres a shrine. Many Bollywood celebrities, including Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan, reacted to the post and said that they feel him. Varun Sharma wrote a long note on Instagram ahead of the release of Hardik Mehta's Roohi. In his note, the actor talked about how cinema halls and theatres are no less than shrines for actors and how the novel coronavirus-induced lockdown affected the industry. He wrote, "For us, Actors, cinema halls and multiplexes are nothing short of a shrine. A year back, when the on-going pandemic hit us hard and theatres had to stay shut, the entire cinema industry incurred massive losses. But more importantly, it took an emotional toll on us. Today after one year I visited the Theatre and I feel so much Gratitude in my Heart (sic)."More Related News
