Varun Dhawan's film Main Tera Hero completed 7 years on April, 4. To celebrate the film's milestone, the actor shared some stills from the film and also wrote a long note sharing his experience filming it.
Varun Dhawan’s film Main Tera Hero clocked seven years on Sunday, April 4, 2021. The actor took to Instagram to share some stills from the movie and revealed how he has some fond memories associated with it. Main Tera Hero was Varun Dhawan’s second film and was directed by his father David Dhawan. The film also starred Ileana D'Cruz and Nargis Fakhri. Varun Dhawan made his Bollywood debut with Student Of The Year 2 in 2016. Main Tera Hero was his second film which released in 2017. Varun wrote how he was nervous as hell before the release of the film. The actor recalls his numerous phone calls with Ekta Kapoor, who was the producer of Main Tera Hero. “MAIN TERA HERO- 7 years ago I was nervous as hell before the release of this film. I remember my numerous phone calls with @ektarkapoor who would give me a pep talk everyday. I had great co actors like @ileana_official and @nargisfakhri making me feel like a hero and an amazing cast @sufisoul @anupampkher @rajpalofficial #saurabshukla #manojpawa helping me grow. Was such an honour to be directed my father david dhawan in my 2nd film. Above all audience ka pyaaar was the biggest boost a newcomer like me needed. My brother Rohit @milapzaveri and @tusharhiranandani always pushing me. Great team great memories and great music by @thesajidwajid.
