Jugjugg Jeeyo star Varun Dhawan opened about how his life has changed after he got married to longtime girlfriend Natasha Dalal. He also shared that as a kid he never thought that he would get married.
JugJugg Jeeyo was released in theatres on June 24. Recently, Varun Dhawan was in New Delhi with his co-stars Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Kiara Advani and Maniesh Paul to promote the film. During an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, the actor spoke about how his life has changed after getting married to longtime girlfriend Natasha Dalal.
Speaking about sharing his cupboard with his wife Natasha Dalal, Varun Dhawan said, ''Kya hota hain ki aapka jo cupboard hain, uske andar ladkiyon ke kapde aa jaate hain. Mistake se jeans nikalta hoon and I try wearing it and I see it's Natasha’s jeans. This happens a lot. The clothes get mixed up. Obviously, you're sharing your lives together. But it's totally okay.''
Varun Dhawan also spoke about how he never thought he would ever get married but his idea changed soon after Natasha entered her life. "So, as a kid I never thought I would get married actually. I never thought I would be that kind of person who gets married and does stuff like that. But then Natasha came into my life and she just got this fudgy, comfortable feeling that it felt like somebody added pillow on your head that kuch bhi ho jaye, you’re safe. Don’t worry, I got you. So, for me that’s marriage," he added.
Putting years of intense speculation and guessing-game finally to rest, childhood sweethearts Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal tied the knot on January 24, 2021 in Alibaug's The Mansion House resort.
Theirs is a love story straight from a film not many know. Natasha went to the Bombay Scottish School like Varun Dhawan and while they had known each other since sixth grade, they never dated in high-school. The two were just friends and their families interacted often at social gatherings and functions.
After schooling right before Natasha moved to New York to study fashion designing at the Fashion Institute of Technology, the two re-connected at a music concert and realised they were more than just good friends and have been dating ever since.
Varun started his journey as an actor in the year 2012 with filmmaker Karan's Student of the Year. While Natasha returned to Mumbai from New York in 2013 with a degree in fashion and started her clothing line Natasha Dalal Label.
