The senior woman went missing from the Renfrew-Collingwood neighbourhood, Saturday night.
The Vancouver police department is asking the public to assist in finding 75-year-old Que Huong Thanh Phu Nguyen.
The elderly woman has dementia and went missing from the Renfrew-Collingwood neighbourhood on Saturday night.
Police said she left her home near Vanness Avenue and Boundary Road around 9 p.m.
Investigators have learned the woman boarded a SkyTrain at Waterfront Station just after 10 a.m. Sunday and got off at Metrotown in Burnaby around 10:40 a.m.
Her absence is out of character and her family is concerned for her well-being.
She is described as four-foot-eleven-inches tall, with a slim build and short grey hair. She was last seen on CCTV footage wearing a grey toque, a black jacket with a rose on the back, light-colour pants and grey sandals.
She was carrying a large black and white tote bag.
Police said she may be confused or disoriented and is not likely to ask for help.
