He was admitted to Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre after testing positive for the novel coronavirus. The hospital bulletin said that Vadivelu's stay in the hospital was good and uneventful with no setbacks. The doctor, who treated Vadivelu, said that the actor is in good health.
