Uttarakhand BJP Leader's Son Arrested For Woman Employee's Murder At His Resort

Woman was missing since a week but police acted swiftly after news went viral with name of Pulkit Arya, son of Haridwar BJP leader Vinod Arya

A senior BJP leader's son who owns a resort in Pauri district of Uttarakhand was arrested today along with two staff members for the murder of a 19-year-old woman who worked there as a receptionist. The body is yet to be found, and police say they are probing the motive.

The woman was reported missing since a week.

Police acted swiftly after news went viral on social media and the victim's family named Pulkit Arya. He is the son of Haridwar BJP leader Vinod Arya, a former chairman of Uttarakhand Mati Kala Board who currently holds a state minister's rank without a post in the government.
